Macerators (grinding systems) are used to protect progressing cavity pumps. The special design of the housing carries the solids in the wastewater flow to the cutting plate, where they are held and chopped by rotating blades. 

The macerator cutting machine, which has its own drive by an electric motor, consists of a cutting plate and a knife head. All parts are made of high quality materials, ensuring a high service life. The macerator design is designed to allow service and inspection of the equipment without the need to dismantle the pipeline.

Macerators are widely used in municipal and industrial environmental engineering, agriculture, slaughterhouses, sugar factories, etc.
